At Vol Oil, we carefully manage the collection and recycling of used oil and other products to protect our customers and the environment. We are fully licensed and capable of servicing used oil, used antifreeze and used oil filters in one stop, giving us a competitive edge in service efficiency.
Used Oil
Used oil is collected, transported and recycled into cost-competitive industrial fuel oil products. Although we service customers with a wide range of requirements, safety and compliance always come first. All our employees are annually trained in Used Oil Management Standards, including both mobile spill response and DOT compliance. Our fleet of trucks is custom fabricated to deliver the most professional and efficient used oil service. And our computerized routing system sets pickup schedules that are customized for each client’s volume and storage tank capacities, ensuring we are on time, every time.
Used Antifreeze
Most antifreeze products stored in segregated tanks can be recycled. Our compartmentalized trucks allow us to provide antifreeze and used oil services at the same time, creating greater efficiency and compliance performance. Antifreeze is collected and transported to our facility, where we test for ethylene glycol (EG) parameters to ensure it is suitable for recycling and resale.
Used Oil Filters
Used oil filters can be recycled to recover iron, oil and BTU-rich soft filtration media. When filters are sent to landfills, these resources are wasted. Plus, those who discard them are exposed to liability if leaching oil threatens water tables. In fact, many states have specific requirements for discarding and managing used oil filters. See our compliance page for a link to the EPA’s Web site for more details.
Our service includes customer storage, pickup, transportation and processing. We provide customers with properly labeled filter storage containers, which we regularly pick up and replace. This comprehensive process ensures full compliance with all federal and state requirements for used oil filter management.
